Administrative history

Campbell Studio was a commercial photography studio that operated from ca. 1939 to 1974. It was managed by A.L. Lee and J.L.W. Price. At one point, Campbell Studio evidently acquired the photographs of the photographer Claude Colpitts.

Fonds consists of photographs taken by the Campbell Studio and Claude Colpitts. Images depict the Foundation Company of B.C. Ltd. shipyards located in Victoria West, parades held in Victoria and other miscellaneous photographs of sporting groups, military personnel and others.
