Fonds consists of photographs taken by the Campbell Studio and Claude Colpitts. Images depict the Foundation Company of B.C. Ltd. shipyards located in Victoria West, parades held in Victoria and other miscellaneous photographs of sporting groups, military personnel and others.

These published and unpublished City documents (CDs) include neighbourhood plans, transportation studies, heritage reports, downtown studies, as well as economic and social profiles, surveys, and architectural proposals.

Photographs include images of members of the Rattenbury family and their home Iechineel in Oak Bay; Victoria homes and other buildings.
Fonds consists of scrapbooks, notebooks, photographs, and other material relating to the Burton family, Walter Burton’s hunting and fishing excursions up Island, wildlife and birds, and Robert Paterson Fox’s involvement with the XI Hussars.
Fonds consists of family photographs, scrapbooks, correspondence, and miscellaneous family files pertaining to the Little/Williamson/Sutherland families in Victoria and Montreal, as well as the Freemans and Lincolns of Massachusetts. Photographs include images of family and friends, vacations, horses, soldiers during the war, and the First Nations village at Alert Bay. Scrapbooks include newspaper clippings, photographs, letters, dance cards, and other miscellaneous items. Correspondence includes letters from friends and family. Family files include genealogical research, estate files, newspaper clippings, and records documenting Lucy’s involvement with the Red Cross.
Fonds consists of records made or received by the City of Victoria's various departments and offices, including boards and agencies that report directly to the City.
Fonds consists of glass plate negatives and 4x5 and 35mm black and white safety film negatives taken by staff and free lance photographers for the Daily Colonist and the Victoria Daily Times, The Express and the Times-Colonist newspapers. The negatives date from approximately 1900 to 1991.
The negatives relate to the following subjects: news events; scenes of the city and surrounding area including buildings, city streets, and views; some up-island locations including Duncan, Nanaimo and Ladysmith; commercial and industrial activities such as store fronts and interiors, and manufacturing operations; sporting events; military personnel and activities; war effort activities; recreational activities; school and church activities; transportation and shipbuilding as well as individual and group portraits which appeared in the “Society” section. The latter include anniversary, wedding, christening and engagement portraits.
