Biographical history
Ruth Collis, the only child of Winifred and Robert Collis, was a teacher. She spent her early life in the Duncan area, and served in the RCAF during the Second World War, after which she worked for Vancouver Island Coach Lines. An avid horsewoman and frequent traveler, she was also involved with several organizations.
