          This committee was one of the three standing committees reporting directly to City Council (the others being the Group 'A' and Group 'B' Committees).

          The committee oversaw the management of the Memorial Arena, Crystal Gardens, McPherson Playhouse, and Royal Athletic Park as well as general recreation planning and program development.
